Jane and I did a 4am wake-up to catch the sunrise over the clouds from the top of the Haleakala crater in Maui, Hawaii. Oh the serenity - several hundred people, tour guides with megaphones, cars and buses pulling up all the time… anyway, the sunrise really was spectacular. But sometimes it pays to turn around and watch people watching something - Jane got this awesome shot of a Japanese tour group (the ones with the megaphone wielding guide) all watching the sunrise, with their tour-group-supplied binoculars reflecting the light.
